DAY 01 | Mumbai – Knysna

Report Mumbai International Airport @ 22:00 hrs. Meet your Tour Manager and collect the required documents and goodies. Check-in starts 3 hours before the flight departure.

DAY 02 | Port Elizabeth – Knysna

Board the Flight to Knysna at 02:00 hrs (South African Airways | Via Johannesburg Transit). Arrive

Port Elizabeth @ 12:00 hrs (There is a transit stop at Johannesburg for 2 hours to change the flights). On arrival at Port Elizabeth Airport sit back in you coach and proceed to “Knysna” one of the best known lagoons in South Africa. Nestled between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean just outside the town of Knysna, the Lagoon is protected from the ocean by the Knysna Heads. The Lagoon’s rich marine life includes the rare and endangered Seahorse. Knysna area is one of the most scenic in the world and offers beaches, lakes and lush forests to play in.

DAY 03 | Oudtshoorn - The Feather Capital | Cango Caves | Cruise on the Knysna Lagoon

Today, after breakfast proceed to Oudtshoorn. En-route we stop at Cango Caves. We visit the first six chambers of Cango Caves. The stalactite and stalagmite formations are an incredible sight. Later, we proceed to Cango Wildlife Ranch where you can discover a variety of animals seldom seen. Venture into Crocodile enclosures, visit Snake Park and Cheetahland. Photograph yourself cuddling a Cheetah by paying a nominal fee. Later, in the evening, we drive to Knysna waterfront to board the John Benn Cruise, a ride on the tranquil Knysna Lagoon.

DAY 04 | Cape Town

Today, sit back in your coach and enjoy a scenic drive along the world famous ‘Garden Route’ to Cape Town which is also called the ‘Mother City’ and the Western Cape, an area which is regarded as one of the most beautiful regions in the world. On arrival check into your hotel. Evening free time for Shopping / Rest.

DAY 05 | Guided City Tour of Cape Town | Table Mountain

Today, enjoy a guided city tour of Cape Town with its majestic Table Mountain backdrop. See the Houses of Parliament and the “Tuinhuis” (President’s offi ce), Company Gardens, ‘St. George’s’

Cathedral and the Malay Quarter. Visit Cape Town’s world famous Table Mountain, (weather permitting). There’s time off to explore the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, one of Cape Town’s biggest tourist attractions.

DAY 06 | Cape of Good Hope | Seal Island | Boulders Beach | African Penguins | Botanical Gardens

Today, we take you to visit the Cape of Good Hope. Your tour takes you to the fishing harbour of Hout Bay for a short trip to Seal Island. We drive via the Atlantic Coast to Cape Point. Marvel at the view of the southern-most tip of South Africa where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Next visit Boulders Beach, situated just after the picturesque village of Simons’s Town. The beach has a healthy population of African Penguins who have chosen the beach as their home and breeding ground due to the fact that there are fewer predators on this part of the coast. Visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, South Africa’s world-famous national botanical garden, set against the backdrop of Table

DAY 07 | Fly to Johannesburg | Onto Sun City - The Fun City

Today, we check-out of the hotel and drive to airport for our flight to Johannesburg. Board the Flight to Johannesburg at 09:50 hrs (South African Airways). Arrive @ 11:50 hrs. On arrival drive to Sun City

– the Fun City, a complete leisure resort with magnificent hotels, dazzling shows, nightlife and a fabulous casino. The evening is free to relax. Visit the casino or soak in the splendour of this splendid resort city.

DAY 08 | Explore Sun City

Today, the day is free to explore the vast complex of Sun City on your own. You will be amazed at this oasis in the desert, with a man-made sea, complete with waves and beaches. Enjoy wind surfing or go swimming at the Valley of the Waves or relax at the Water World. Take a walk over the Bridge of Time into the Entertainment Centre where fantasies really come true.

DAY 09 | Onto Johannesburg | Visit Gold Reef City

After breakfast we check out and proceed to Johannesburg. En-route, we take you on a tour of Gold Reef City. Visit this reconstructed town of 19th century Johannesburg. See the underground workings of a gold mine. Watch molten gold being poured. Visit the Gold Reef City Theme park, which has more than thirty adrenaline-boosting rides like the Giant Wheel, Anaconda and Tower of Terror.

DAY 10 | Johannesburg to Mumbai | Return Home with Wonderful Memories

Today, we drive you to the airport for our flight back home. Board the Flight to Johannesburg at 11:20 hrs (South African Airways). Arrive Mumbai @ 12 o clock midnight.   • As per RBI circular, the Basic Travel Quota (BTQ) per financial year is US$ 10000 per person for private visit & US$
  • 25000 for business visit.
  • Endorsement of Currency in the Passports is advised.
  • Maximum limit for carrying INR while travelling abroad is Rs 10000/- .
  • Maximum limit for bringing INR while returning India is Rs 10000/-.
  • USD / EURO are universal currencies & easily exchangeable in any part of the world.
  • Its better to arrange for the USD / EURO prior to the departure and always carry the purchase Bill / Receipt.
  • Airport tax is added to forex cost at airport.
  • Carry local currency of the each visiting country worth $ 50 for miscellaneous expenses and emergency use.

During Travel

  • Always refer Currency Table while converting currency.

Coach

  • All Inter-Country Surface Transfers and excursions would be in Deluxe Air Conditioned, Executive, Comfortable and Premium Long Distance Coach.
  • The traffic restrictions in Rome have not been lifted but in fact have been extended not only in Rome but also through most other cities in Italy.  Therefore please note that sightseeing may be disrupted and subject to change without notice.

Coach Drivers

  • In one week, a driver is not to exceed 5 days of 12 hrs and 2 days of 14 hrs on duty with the group.
  • In one day, a driver is not permitted to drive for more than 9 hrs.
  • In one day, a driver must have 9 consecutive hours of rest.

Mandatory Tips

Tips are Mandatory during the tour in the countries which you are visiting in this tour.

  • Coach Driver Tips : USD 3 per person per day.
  • Local Guide Tips : USD 3 per person per day

Other Important Issues

  • As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double room.
  • A person 11 years and below is considered a child and above 11 years, an adult.
  • On certain days, we may sometime amend the itinerary. However, all the Services/Inclusions will remain the same.

  • Since this tour starts from Mumbai, Passengers joining this tour must travel to / from the respective city to Mumbai at their own expense.
  • The airfare is based on the fare structure existing as on November 30, 2013. Any further increase in the airfare due to an increase in the fuel price, change in Government regulations, taxes, etc., charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passengers. Apna Holidays will not be held responsible for the same.
  • Continental Breakfasts, Indian Lunches, Indian Dinners and local meals are pre set and a-la carte is not possible
  • Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. Apna Holidays will not be liable for the same.
  • The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, baggage loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers.   • The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, aeroplane, bus, ship or other services.
  • Due to private coaches being forbidden inside the cities few of your sightseeing will be done by local buses and by foot. The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible.
  • Due to major international events and trade fairs throughout Europe such as the Olympics games, Air Show, World Athletic Meet, the Motor Show, Ice Skating Championships etc, the hotels may be blocked out more than two years in advance. In view of this, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities and the itineraries may have to be altered / amended.
  • We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.

  • There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour.
  • In case you decide to change the date of your return reservation once confirmed the exact amount payable to the airline will be advised once the same is confirmed.
  • Tours operated are subject to RBI/GOI regulations. Part of the tour cost will be paid in EURO out of your BTQ at prevailing rate of exchange.

  • South Africa consulate does not work on Friday. Consulate might call for Interview also.

The cancellation charge is shown as a percentage, this is calculated on the basis of the total cost payable by the Guest.
